Promotion

-When I did not get promoted last year. I was so disappointed because I had counted on that so much. I was even looking for another job for a while but my boss kept telling me that he would do anything to open a new position for me and promote me. Promotion is not very easy in government jobs especially in our type of work. You have to have to wait until the promotional position opens and then fill a very long and detailed application that goes over lots of different areas of expertise on the job. When you r application is accepted you have to wait to get in to interview and usually is not a very easy interview. Long story short, it can take few years for a qualified employee to get promoted. Any way my boss kept his promise and could convince the employer HR that he needs this promotional job and has to promote one of employees. It was a long process but finally happened and I had my interview on Wednesday. This time I did not count on it much and kept cool. Yesterday I got call from our HR that I was picked for the promotional position and then my boss announced it to our division. It felt good after so much hard work and dedication I finally got it. Now Senior is added to my current title and I can officially have my own staff! I am happy J

-Election is less than two weeks and I am nervous about it. Although I know that President Obama has a big chance but still there are lots of stupid racist out there that they don't like him. I pray for his success.
