??

Today I read in a Persian News Site (Balatarin) that a newly opened restaurant that is a roller restaurant, located on top of a big building in north of Tehran, serves food that cost about $280 per person. The shocking part was the price of Ice cream that is covered with some sort of eatable gold!!! and is $250. I don’t think, even the most expensive restaurant in New York or Paris serve an ice cream with this ridiculous price. Who are the people that eat that Ice cream? How someone can spend $250 on Ice cream while in the same city some people sell their own kidney to provide food for their kids! Or poor kids in Somalia die out of hunger every day. If I even own $500,000,000 someday I won’t eat Ice cream that costs $250.

I have watched a BBC movie about this news couple of weeks back. I believe that only those people who are responsible for selling Oil & Gas (our national fund) or are connected to the government are perfectly able to spend such money. Quite recently one of parliament representatives claimed that a minister has bought a type of watch for his son which costs $250,000!!!

yeah Ocean, and what to think of the dictators in north, south, west and east Africa looting the national accounts like Khadafi for years while we were doing nothing. The food insufficiency isn't a problem of today, remember the Sahel in the seventies, Ethiopia in the nineties.
It's not a problem to afford $ 250,= on one icecream (if it's kingsize it might be worth the money) The real problem is that the world seems not wanting to solve the underlying problem of starvation of people, mostly young kids.
There are plenty of possibilities to save those people. But in times of despair we need stability and that's what lacking aswell as the willpower of the rest of the world.
