Pre-school

My son started his new pr-school today. He seems to like the school and his teacher.
In this new school, they don?t provide lunch and kids should bring their own little lunch boxes. I went to buy a nice lunch box for him last week. There were so many options.
Very cute lunch boxes for kids, they were all sort of them in the shape of cars, Fire Truck, etc. He picked the fire truck! Any way today I put lunch, fruit and drink for him and took him to the new school. I stayed for half hour there and then he let me go to work. I called two times to make sure that he is fine and the teacher said that he has been doing very well. A funny story happened there too, in pervious day care, since it was a home daycare they would take off their shoes inside and would take nap without shoes obviously, but here kids have shoes on all day along and the school?s reasoning is that if there is a fire drill or emergency they can take kids out right away! Any way when my son wanted to take a nap today, he wanted to take off his shoes but the teacher asked him to have it on! He told the teacher: ? how come we sleep with shoes here? That will make my sheet dirty! I never sleep with shoes at home!!?. The teacher explained the school?s rule and he listened to her and slept with shoes, but teacher said the way he looked at her while he was questioning the situation was very funny!
Kids are so adorable. They have their own world. I wish they could remain that innocent as a grown up too!
