New Post in New Year

-This is my first blog post since New Year has started. As usual I am very busy. When I come home from work, I have to check my son's homework and give him some extra tests and work with him. Their school is the best in the County of San Diego and teachers make it hard for kids to keep the schools good rating up!! We have lots of Asians in our neighborhood and they work hard with their kids so our kids (all non-Asian ones) have to compete with them. Sometime I wish I could come home, lie down on the couch and do nothing. My real work starts when I get home! Parenting is exhausting sometimes!!



-As I said before my aunt has come from Norway to visit us, I took some time off around Christmas and New Year to show her San Diego and we also took her for a short trip to Las Vegas. My mom took care of kids. This was the first time that we were not with kids overnight! It was fun trip and my aunt liked Vegas very much. She took more than 300 pictures!! I think whoever visits Las Vegas for the first time gets so impressed with all those extra ordinary and fascinating hotels and Casinos. I told my aunt "You can do whatever you want tonight because whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas;)".



-I have to keep reminding myself every day to be more relaxed and take it easy but sometimes I get lost in my busy schedule and too many responsibilities… I keep meditating although sometimes I am too tired but I try to keep it in my schedule even for few minutes…



-I got myself iPhone 4s for New Year and I love it. It is so cool. God bless Steve Jobs' soul. I am wondering what he has come up with in heaven;)



-Last week Iranian movie "Separation" got Golden Globe award. I got so happy for the Director and whoever was involved in that movie. Now it is nominated for Oscar. I hope it wins. When Iranian people get their freedom trophy? When they can send the evils out and make the best movie out of that? I truly pray for my people's freedom…
