Just a new post

-I have been very busy lately. We decided to paint the house, at first we just wanted to paint the kids rooms and family room but then we decided to paint the whole house. The painters have started from today; I have to stay at my mom’s house because of the smell of the paint. It will be lots of work! But we have to do it now otherwise we cannot do it after the baby comes. I hope they finish fast, the contractor said one week but usually they stretch more than what they say!

-I have recently watched two good movies, “Michael Clayton” played by George Clooney.
The first motivation to go to Movie Theater to watch was it, was because George Clooney plays in it! And second motivation was the good reviews of the movie. After the movie I made sure that I did not want to be a lawyer, before I always thought may be I could continue my education and get law degree but recently I had heard lots of stories that how though it can be to be a lawyer at big law firms and they make you work very long hours and there are lots of competition, I thought may be for a family person like me that would be impossible. Other than that when you are a lawyer sometimes you have to twist the truth, unless you work for yourself and be very specific about your clients and cases! And I really don’t like to twist any truth on purpose! Any way it was a good movie and made me remember that being a lawyer although it can be very exiting and helpful for lots of people but does not match my personality that much!

The other movie that I saw just over the weekend was “Lord of war”, that was about a gun dealer who would traffic guns to different countries especially African countries. A smart police was on his and …. I don’t want to tell the whole story in case you want to watch it but that made me sad that how people for money and power directly or indirectly kill innocent people. Like all the wars that are happening in today’s world and is all about money and power. There are always excuses to make the whole mess look reasonable! It seems that us (human beings) or at least our leaders have not changed much and we are not so different from our descendents who we consider uncivilized, they would attack each other’s country and they were at least honest about the purposes of their attack, today world leaders do same thing but bring all sorts of excuses to make the war reasonable. That really makes me sick.
Can we have a world without any wars some day? I doubt it!! As long as there are people with greed for money and power that is impossible!
