Happy New year

- I am Ok these days, baby is growing fast. The bad news of these days is that my mom had an accident and it was her fault it was a very weird accident, when she was living our house last Saturday she bumped to a car parking on our street which was parked on the other side of street but fortunately no one was in the car. She could not remember what exactly happened, she said that she could not control the car and I think she hit the pedal instead of hitting the brake when she bumped the other car and created lots of damage especially to her own car . My Mom has high blood pressure and my guess was that her blood pressure went high and for a moment her brain was blocked but couple days later she told me that now she remembers that she had poured herself tea to drink in the car and when she was turning the car the glass was dropped and she looked down to see what happened and that is the moment that she lost the control of her car! Any way I and my husband though that may be she better not to drive any more, if she needs ride we will give her ride and take her any where she wants. But there are issues like when I am going back to work I want my mom to come and take care of baby at our house so we won’t take him out early in the morning and it is better for the babies to stay in same environment so we will need to take her home every night and drive her back in the morning ( she wants to sleep in her own bed and have evening to herself which I completely understand), although her house is close but in long run that would be difficult. On the other hand she feels stuck at home without car. People that live in CA know what I am talking about, it is very hard not to have a car in CA, there not much good public transportation services here and every one needs car. Any way I don’t know if it is right for her to buy another car. Her old one was damaged badly and she gave it away.
- Iranian New Year is on Wednesday, we are invited to my husband’s cousin like ever year to celebrate with family and friends. Tomorrow is Charshanbeh souri, the last Tuesday night of Persian year that people celebrate and jump over the fire. As usual the celebration is by the beach and I think I won’t go because it will be cold at night with baby!! I like to go though!!
- They have announced that there is budget cut for state of Ca and they want to lay off teachers! Can you believe it they spend so much money on the damned war with Iraq then they are short in budget and lay off poor teachers? What a teacher supposed to do if she/he is not teaching?? Flipping hamburger. I am sick of this republican administration. God helps people and send a democrat to the white house. Actually people should help them themselves by choosing the right thing!!
- Last but not least my baby is doing great, he is a lot more quite than his brother!! But I am very busy with him and hardly get chance to blog or read other blogs!!
- My older son is still jealous and sometimes acts out. Our biggest problem with him is that he is not a good listener and we should always repeat things with him, since the new baby has come his listening problem has got worse. Any way we met with a psychologist today to get some advises. The biggest tip from her was we should stay calm as much as possible when he misbehaves and avoid any yelling!! Sometimes it is hard not to yell!! We just tell him calmly but he does not listen and pushes us to the edge. We are practicing to be very very calm, hopefully he gets better! I can tell that biggest challenge of my life has been dealing with my son!!!!!!!!!!!
He is good smart kid but he is challenging some times.

Happy new year and have fun, especially those in Iran, I wish I was there and would go to shomal (North of Iran) for Nowruz like when I was living in Iran. Sometimes I really miss those days when my only responsibility in life was studding and getting prepared for exams!!!!!!!!
