Election Again

-I wish I could go on another vacation! I am already tired and need some time off. In US, you are lucky if you have 3 weeks off yearly; in some companies employees have just 2 weeks or even one week vacation per year. Since I work for government, I have 3 weeks and 2 days. When I work for 15 years (I am working for this government agency almost 8 years now) then I will have 4 weeks and 2 days!! In most of European countries people have 5 to 6 weeks vacation per year which is great! Now American people sit there and worry that your country is becoming socialist under this president Administration, what is wrong with being socialist after all? Having more vacation? Having free health care? More unemployment money? Being taken care of at retirement?

-November election is coming up and I am going to mail my ballot today. I truly hope that Democrats can get majority of house and senate again. Unfortunately there have been lots of negative advertisement against them! in last 2 years president Obama and his administration have worked so hard to save this sinking ship, people have already forgot that Dow Jones went down to 6000 point when the pervious president was leaving the office and now is passed 11000 point. All those big corporates that don’t want to hire unemployed people so can cash more money have had profit since last year. This president kind of got rid of the unnecessary expensive war in Iraq and is trying to settle down in Afghanistan and end that war too. He and this Democrat congress and Senate tried so hard to pass health care reform that has lots of benefits for regular people, one of the best benefit is to stop insurance companies from denying people with pre-excising condition. Insurances could drop you off if you had cancer!!! He has modified the student loan process so it is going to be cheaper and more convenient for students to get loan. He has started the financial reforms to stop banks and financial companies from some maneuvers that they would play to put more money in their pocket and sock more blood from people and some other reforms that he is still working on it like clean energy and so for. Any way unfortunately people in United States can be easily manipulated by media, the media that get most of their money and fund from rich people and of course rich people don’t like these reforms! I truly hope that people come to their senses and don’t let Republicans take over congress and senate. Then we would definitely go backward again.

-I saw Social Network (the movie about Facebook inventors) over the weekend. It was a good movie. Not everything in the movie is true though but I liked it.
