Different things

There are so many things that I want to write about today. May be I should summarize them as much as possible:
-Our vacation last week was fun. We went to Disneyland last Wednesday and were in the theme park from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm. We went to at least 15 rides. My son was not scared this time at all and except Indiana Jones (which is one of the greatest but not OK for his age) he came to all the rides with us. I truly enjoyed it!! Disneyland is one of the most fun places that I have ever been too!!!!!!!!!!!
I and my husband went to Bill Maher show on Sunday night and it was absolutely fantastic. I have never seen anybody as out spoken as him in my whole life!!!!!! We laughed for good 1.5 hour and enjoyed it a lot. Here is two links of his shows on TV just watch and see what I mean:

-On Monday I had an accident, a guy with a huge truck hit my car in the back and obviously was his fault. I am ok but the bumper and the back left light were smashed! My car is in auto shop and I have a rental car now!

-My ex-sister-in law whom I wrote about here before, who hurt me a lot emotionally when I moved to US and I had written about it and said that was one of the people that I would not forgive and finally I forgave her in my heart, brings her daughter who in my niece too (she is not in contact with us, because her mom does not let her to see his dad’s family) to my son’s school! Poor girl is at sixth grade but because of her bad behavior has changed schools five times already. Now she comes to same school as my son. I saw them and I said hi to my niece but they just ignored me which was not surprising at all!! Any way this is a good practice for me to see a person that has been really bad to me and my family every day but stay cool and forgiving towards her!!!!!!!!
Life is all about tests, here and there!!!!!!!

-Finally my favorite subjects these days! ELECTIONS.
I have been watching democratic convention last couple of days and it was great. Hillary and Bill Clinton were so good. This show how civilized they are and how these people can become united when it is necessary. A lesson that lots of countries in the world should learn from them. Until month ago Hillary and Obama were competent, now they are friends and united. This is amazing!! Al Gore’s speech was fantastic too, every time I see this guy I feel heartbroken that he did not become US president!!!!! I read in news this morning that McCain has selected Alaska’s governor who is a woman (44 years old ) as his Vice president! This was surprising and shows how republican are desperate to defeat Obama, they want to show we are minority supporters too!!!!! But if McCain becomes president we will have same problems as last 8 years!
I hope American people have got their lesson and vote for Obama! This will be a very exciting election for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

My Kids

-Today is my older son’s last day at his preschool. He will start Kindergarten on next Monday. Here in US, Kindergarten is the grade before the first grade and is mandatory. Kids start Kindergarten at 5 years old. I remember at our time most of the kids would go just straight to first grade without any preschool or Kindergarten participation, I had gone to preschool and I remember it very well, it was a French school in Isphahan (we used to live in Isphahan for few years because of my dad’s job). Any way kids are a lot more knowledgeable these days. My son can read all the alphabets and some words already, he can write his own name, my name and his dad’s name. He can count to 100 and can read all the numbers!! He already knows about basic scientific subjects like animal’s categories, volcanoes, etc. If these kids don’t get wasted, they can reach really high levels of education! I hope that he will stay in right track! We are taking off the rest of the week to spend time with him so he has some fun before starting school. We are planning to go to Disneyland on Wednesday, just three of us and will leave the baby home with my Mom. I am as excited as my son. I love Disneyland!!!!!!!!!

-Baby is getting bigger now, he is teething and sometimes is very uneasy and frustrated, poor thing! He is so cute though, when I took him for his six months check up last week, as soon as his doctor saw him, he said” Are you the most handsome? You should become a movie star”!!

-Bill Maher (a very famous comedian that I have written about him here before) is coming to San Diego on Sunday night and I bought (pricy!!) tickets to go to his show. I am a big fan of him and am so excited to go to his show. I will write about it here.
I wish every one’s life as fun and happy as Disneyland!!!!!!!!!!!!

Four years of blogging

-My mother-in-law flew back to Iran yesterday. She stayed with us six weeks besides some weekends and holidays that she stayed with us during her long visit that lasted for 10 months. I was very patient with her and I should say that she was her best this time. May be when we try to be more patient and easy going our positive attitude makes other people to be more moderate and easy going as well. When I was first married to my husband she was interfering all the time but now she is a lot better. She still gives her opinion a lot but I can bear with it more and she tries to be less intrusive. Any way this period passed and last night I was happy to have my privacy back. I think the most important thing in life is freedom and privacy then health and prosperity.
-I have downloaded the 10 web cast sessions that Oprah has with Eckhart Tolle the writer of the New earth (the book that has had a great impact on me) and I listen to it whenever I can. If you can download it, go to Oprah.com and download all the sessions. It is well worth it to listen. No preach or religious lessons have ever impacted me this much that these sessions have. I truly sink in to the whole session and try to practice the points in my mind! It is hard to remember them all the time but I am keep trying it.
I am reading another good spiritual book named “Secret” recently that I know that has been translated to Farsi as “Raaz”. I recommend that too. I think in today’s world with all these mechanical and technical influences we all need spiritual advises to stay moderate and don’t get drown all the way to materialism!!

-Last but not least, today is 4 years that I am blogging. I think this is one of the best things that I have done for myself! I am so happy to be able to talk about any thing that I want here and have some great virtual friends!!!!!
