We need to save world!

-We observed another crazy action during last couple of days! A crazy student killed 32 innocent students at VA Tech University! What a world. We hear about this a lot on news these days and people discussing it every where. I am very against the law that allows every one to carry gun! Lots of Americans say this is one of the each citizen’s right in constitution law to be able to have gun! When they wrote this law, US was a wild wild west, things have changed a lot and if Law enforcement agencies take a good control of every thing which they do in lots of areas people do not need to carry gun.
There are lots of things behind this law, the manufacturer of guns support this law a lot, because they make really good money out of selling guns. They say every one who is buying a gun goes through background check and they check to see if the person does not have a mental treatment case, which this student had, but still could buy gun!!
Another thing that I believe should be restricted and filtered in this country is producing violent movies, shows, etc. Lots of these crazy people get good ideas for their devilish actions from these movies and shows, and again people that make good money from these products don’t like any restriction! Why Money and power is controlling every thing in today’s world, especially in a capitalism world!

Any way I am so sad for these students and their family, I put myself in their parents’ shoes and I feel horrible!
This was a big tragedy but this tragedy happens almost every day in Iraq! And thinking about it squeezes my heart really bad. We all should try to save this world from war, violence, poverty, etc before we all (poor or rich, Weak or powerful) get drowned in it.
May be we cannot do much as individuals but at least can start from ourselves and our families. I can teach my son to care for other people to be peaceful and value kindness and giving. I think we all can teach or remind each other of these important values and get united to save the world!

-I finished reading Cleopatra life’s story last night. As every one knows she was beautiful rich queen of her own time but she abused her power and beauty to gain more money and power and sacrificed lots of human beings lives, including her brothers for her goals in life and at the end when she was just 39 years old, committed suicide by one her own snakes, so the enemy could not get her alive! Again that reminded me that life is too short and we all die some day that we even don’t know when that would be! So we should try to be a better person and live peacefully and don’t hang on to hatred, jealousy, anger etc.

-I am planning for a trip with my husband and son to Iran, If very thing goes well, I am planning to go in September! I am so excited already! I am even planning to which restaurants and pastry stores I want to go!!!!!!!!

-I talked to one of my old best friends from Iran for about one hour yesterday and I enjoyed the conversation so much, we remembered our memories together and we laughed a lot.
I think one of the biggest joys in life is chit chatting with a good friend!!!!!!

Award!

One of my first big assignments at my current job was writing an application for our Traffic division. It was a big application with lots of different features and reports. Any way I worked on it individually and a few months ago we pushed it to production. It was a great success and Traffic division was so happy about it.
Yesterday one our lieutenants who I worked with on this project called me and said there is a meeting in Administration building to present the application and you have to be there! I was surprised that why after few months they have decided to present application now. Any way I, my boss and the lieutenant went to the meeting and it was full of big shots of our department, most of them with uniforms and guns!!!!!!! I was telling myself: “ god, I hope they won’t ask me to present the system here in front of all these command staff!” that I heard that they called my name and told me to stand up in front and gave me a recognition award because of my hard and successful work on this project!! It felt fantastic! You know, we all do a lot at work and at home in our daily lives but even us forget about the importance and impact of our work but when someone surprisingly recognizes us it means a lot. We all need that recognition every now and then!
Any way I am so happy about it, when I came back to the office, our CIO came to my desk, congratulated me and thanked me for my accomplishment!

I was just thinking to myself yesterday that I am working too much and may be I should not have worked in such a demanding position and would just have a easy part time job! Now I feel it is worth it to work hard and be recognized!!

P.S. I did not want to show off my award, just wanted to share my happiness with my virtual friends!!!!!!

Crazy world!

-They finally released the British sailors. But the political battles are not stopped.
Now the British sailors claim that they did not really pass the waters and they have been
Mentally pressured! Some people say these claims by British sailors along with nuclear issues will lead to war some time soon! I hope not!!
Today’s world politics make me really sick! What is this?
It seems that we think we are more civilized than people who lived couple hundred years ago because they would attack each other’s country, kill each other and did not have democracy? What we do these days? Don’t we do same thing but with more advanced weapons and better excuses for war!

I truly wish things change in the world, I hope next generations finally get it that god did not create this planet and every thing on it for us to destroy! We should live freely with peace and enjoy equally the gift of life!!!!!!!!!!

-If you like a mood change, watch A good year. I liked that movie; I can tell that it was a girly movie. At the same time that was simple, it was touching too. It is a bout a very successful English businessman that inherits a Chateau and Vinery in France and goes to get and sell it, the story is about things that happen when he goes to France . Russell Crow plays in that movie. I really like his play; I think he is one of the best actors.
I was telling my husband, I wish we would inherit a vinery in France , then I would quit my job, move there and live a slow, relaxing life!! He said “I would wait until I would become 50 so I could retire and get my retirement benefits, I don’t want to loose that! You could go earlier and I would eventually join you!” I said” what if I would find a French boy friend and drink wine every day in your absence (I was just teasing him)?”He said” in that case we better not to inherit any thing and just sit over our a… here!!!!!!!”
